These versatile plasma cleaners can clean, etch and prime ready for painting or bonding without the need for re-venting or unloading the chamber.

Customized product mounting including rotating drum systems are available in some of these plasma cleaners.

These plasma cleaners are capable of storing and performing multiple tasks and with the possibility to connect additional gas sources they can clean, etch and prime with no need to vant and open the chamber.

Double door plasma cleaners

The use of a plasma cleaner with interlocking doors prevents errors occurring as processed goods are kept separate from untreated goods.

The interlocking doors allows the plasma cleaner to operate as a lock to a clean area prevent recontamination of cleaned goods.

This is particularly important in the case where the plasma cleaner is performing the task of sterilizing where it is not possible to visually determine which goods have been processed.

Modifications of these plasma cleaners are often used in applications where extreme cleanliness is needed. To achieve these super clean parts nonstandard pressure may be employed in the process.

Plasma cleaners for roll to roll goods

The handling of roll-to-roll goods in a plasma cleaner presents unique challenges.

For sheet materials the process must be even across and along the sheet.

The material itself must not be damaged either by the plasma or stretched.

The process must be as fast as possible while maintaining repeatability and consistent results.

For tubes and cables, often heat is needed to ensure removal of volatile contamination from within the strands of the cable.

This is provided by the plasma itself. By concentrating the plasma field around the product, the desired temperature can be reached in seconds even in vacuum.

Plasma is an excellent and efficient form of heating in a vacuum.

Plasma cleaners for bulk goods and powders

Bulk goods and powders are typically processed in rotating drum plasma cleaners.

These plasma cleaners can feature a single drum or sectioned drums, allowing simultaneous cleaning of different components within a set, each in its own compartment.
